Is that an accurate perspective? We seem to accumulate more and more, and some of our hobbies and entertainment practices certainly suggest an unhealthy attachment to things. On the other hand, it seems that multitudes of needy people are being neglected and too often used for political purposes or personal gain.
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. (James 2:8)
