STOP AND THINK – The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire. (Ferdinand Foch, 19th-20th century French soldier)

That’s an interesting statement from a military man. We might have expected him to name a big cannon or a strong cavalry unit as the strongest of weapons in his day. But no, he says a man with a burning zeal is more difficult to defeat than some powerful weapons of war. Is that the kind of people we are? Just think of the good we could do with such passion.

He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance and wrapped himself in a cloak of divine passion. (Isaiah 59:17)
