STOP AND THINK – What someone is begins to be revealed when his talent abates, when he stops showing us what he can do. (Friedrich Nietzsche, 19th century German philosopher)

We seem to think that what we do—our actions and accomplishments—will impress people so much that we will be known and remembered for those achievements. In reality, though, what we do merely reflects who we are. We can be sure, then, that when we can no longer “do,” we will be clearly seen for what we are.

As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. (Proverbs 27:19)
