The past year has been a wet one, and with the rain comes mud. During my walks, the mud can become treacherous. Often I try to just step over the mud rather than taking the harder way of avoiding it altogether. I sometimes misjudge and end up slipping and sliding all over.
In my faith walk, I often find myself not heeding the danger signs ahead and find myself slipping and sliding backwards. I have found it is easier to stay away from the mud than to get out of it.
Psalm 18:36 “You gave me a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.”
