Comfort

We may impress people with strength, but we connect with vulnerability and weaknesses. (Craig Groeschel, leadership speaker)

Weight-lifting, body-building, and TV shows featuring physical competition may impress viewers with their brute strength, but most of us can’t relate to them very well. We connect far more easily and closely to those who are going through a crisis like ours. In turn, we can be a great comfort to others in a similar hard place.

[God] comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthians 1:4)
