At Home

He is happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home. (Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, 18th-19th century German poet)

In “The Wizard of Oz” Dorothy was encouraged to repeat: “There’s no place like home.”  And that has been the thought of many travelers—whether on a business trip or away on vacation. Of course, that’s only true if their home is a place of peace and security, which we must continually work for. It is also the picture of an eternal home that awaits the children of God.

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? (John 14:2).
