Thousands will share Valentine greetings today, and the promises of “love you to the moon and back” and “love you forever” will no doubt warm many hearts. But, in reality, such sentiments are more emotional than realistic—pleasant to share but often not taken seriously. True love, however, is a gift from God whose love never fails. What an encouraging reminder today!
Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:28).
