Encouragement

It doesn’t matter how many people say no to you as long as the right people say yes. (Unknown; many have said something similar)

“It’s a good idea, but you won’t be able to do it.” “It will cost too much.” “It’s never worked before.”  You can get all kinds of negative feedback when you ask for advice for your pet project. You really want someone to give you support, and you want that encouragement from the people who are intelligent, relevant, and knowledgeable. When they “Yes,” go for it.

The words of the godly encourage many . . . Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them (Proverbs 10:21; Ephesians 4:29)
