Worldview

I believe in Christ, like I believe in the sun – not because I can see it, but by it I can see everything else. (C. S. Lewis. British apologist)

Everyone has a worldview. People see the world and make judgments about it on the basis of their assumptions and ideas, which may come from family values, education, or associations. Viewpoints may be mistaken, but everything we see is judged by our personal standards. How critically important it is, then, that we learn to see the world from the basis of revealed truth.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” . . .. Jesus to God the Father, “Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth” (John 14:6; 17:17).
