Losing or winning?
You learn more from losing than [from] winning. (Morgan Wooten, late high school basketball coach)
Most likely, not many athletes or contest losers will agree with this statement, but Wooten continues, “You learn how to keep going.” Surely, if we quit after losing some kind of competition, we may always see ourselves as losers. But the teams and individuals who press on, learn from their mistakes, and work hard to improve are the long-term winners.
So let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good (Job 34:4). Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge (Proverbs 18:15).
