What’s Next?

A popular song a few years ago asked, “Is that all there is?” Whether it’s in athletics, the arts, or simply career pursuits, many achieve some of their goals and then wonder, what else is there for me to achieve? Lewis’ comment is challenging. Beyond the physical and material, there is something eternal that we should be looking for, and you can find direction in your Bible.
The world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions…And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever (1 John 2:16-17).
