Open-minded

A man, though wise, should never be ashamed of learning more, and must unbend his mind. (Sophocles, ancient Greek tragedian)

Have you ever been in a conversation that was dominated by a very talkative “Know-it-all”? Your opinions and ideas were always “topped” by the genius among you. We may resent such interruptions and show of knowledge, but perhaps it can be a learning experience. We can learn from such a person if we are open to increasing our knowledge and improving our usefulness.

Instruct the wise, and they will be even wiser. Teach the righteous, and they will learn even moreIntelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge. (Proverbs 9:9; 18:15)
