Others

Insecurity is often fed by self-interest. (Philip Bryant, community worker)

Perhaps you’ve noticed that some people who seem to have a sense of insecurity are also very self-centered. Maybe it’s continually thinking of themselves that has produced a sense of inadequacy. Giving attention to others may relieve that tension and develop a greater concern for others and how to interact with and help them.

Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (Philippians 2:4)
Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. (Proverbs 11:25)
