Best or Worst?
Today is not the worst nor best day of your life. (Chris Suitt, pastor)
How can you know that for sure? Maybe you’ve had a terrible day at school or at the office. It was just awful. But you didn’t fail a test or lose your job, so things could be worse. Perhaps you got engaged or married today. But there may be the birth of a child in the future, and all other days will pale in comparison. Don’t see today as an end, but move on with purpose and hope.
Neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38)
