Spontaneity is one of those human traits that can be either helpful or harmful. It might be fun to invite some friends to go out to dinner at the last minute. It’s quite another thing, however, to decide on the spur of the moment to invest time and money in an idea without knowing what and who may be involved. It’s always wise to take time to evaluate before making decisions.
For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. (Proverbs 2:10-11)
