In life’s daily routine, we might wonder, “What is ahead for me? What should I be doing?” Begg’s comment is really helpful because it relieves us of the pressure to know what’s ahead. As the daily “scroll” of our life unfolds, we find the way step by step, and that should be enough to keep us on tract as we walk into the unknown, carefully following the “still small voice” of God.
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. (John 16:13)
