Reason

Craven seems to be stating the same truth in different terms, relating “mind” to “reason” and “flesh” to “passions.” Many today seem to be living with the premise that “if it feels so good, it must be right.” We would do much better if we were to act on the basis of truth determined by a reasoning mind.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:5-6)
