Critics

Be so busy improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others. (Chetan Bhagat, Indian author)

What a helpful challenge! People who live in the western hemisphere tend to be individualistic and socially aware. They find it easy to judge others from the perspective of their own personal worldview and preferences. Thus, they are often critical—and not always helpful. How much better life would be if we could work on self-improvement rather than judging others.

If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. (James 4:11)
I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things. (Revelation 2:19)
