Remembering

Remember Pearl Harbor. (Commander Lewis Preston Harris’ Battle Cry)

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 launched the U.S. into World War II. We remember it today as a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, and American grit and resilience. We dare not forget the sacrifice of those who died to preserve our nation’s freedom. In a few days we’ll be remembering the day God sent his Son to provide not only physical freedom but eternal life.

So Christ has truly set us free. (Galatians 5:1)
He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. (1 Timothy 2:6)
