Encouragement

Every time we encourage someone, we give them a transfusion of courage. (Chuck Swindoll, pastor and author)

Do you remember a time when you were deeply discouraged, blue, and sad beyond reason? No matter the cause, nothing seemed to work out well for you. How did you get over that funk? Was it someone who came along to lift your spirits by being with you and, as Swindoll says, gave you a “transfusion of courage.” If so, look for ways that you can help others in similar situations.

Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. (Ephesians 4:29)
