God of Hope

A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need . . . Never abandon a friend (Proverbs 17:17; 27:10)

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak (Psalm 19:1-2).

For you have been called to live in freedom, . . .  use your freedom to serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:13) 

If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones (Luke 16:10).

Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing (Proverbs 12:18).

Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living  (Romans 6:16).

Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed . . . Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity (Proverbs 16:3; 21:5).

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17)  

By [sharing with others], they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life (1 Timothy 6:19).

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles (Psalm 145:5).

Do your planning and prepare your fields before building your house (Proverbs 24:27).
