God of Hope

The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple (Psalm 19:7).

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns (Philippians 1:6).

Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people . . . Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you (Joshua 1:6).

We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized (Hebrews 6:11).

People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart (Proverbs 21:2).

The Lord to the Apostle Paul: “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found. (Psalm 119:35)

May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. . . . Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 20:4; 27.4)

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. (Ephesians 5:15-16)

A quiet spirit can overcome even great mistakes (Ecclesiastes 10:4). 

The Apostle Paul to Philemon: “I keep hearing about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God’s people” (Philemon 1:5).

A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked (Psalm 84:10).
