God of Hope

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well (Psalm 139:14). 

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).

If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall (1 Corinthians 10:12).
The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again (Proverbs 25:16).

Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). 

I pray . . . that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding (Philippians 1:9).

Don’t trap yourself by making a rash promise (Proverbs 20:25).
Don’t make rash promises (Ecclesiastes 5:2).

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Why am I discouraged? . . . I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God. . . . O Lord, you alone are my hope (Psalm 42:5; 71:5).

A person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea. . . . Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do (James 1:6, 8).

Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith (Hebrews 13:7).

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching (Titus 2:7).
