I don’t know how you treat your pets, but both my husband and I often think and speak for our dogs. I wonder how close we come to really understanding what our dogs are thinking.

When I walk in the woods, I do a lot of talking—some to the dogs, some talking to myself, and some to God. If the trees had ears, they would have heard many prayers offered, Sunday school lessons yet to be taught, and rehearsed conversations about asking for forgiveness, trying to comfort someone, or telling others about God.

When I walk in the woods, I am carrying on a conversation with God.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”
