Wally is the hunter dog that usually finds the scent of prey first. He lets out a joyous yip of pursuit. The yip has two purposes. First, it is a passionate signal to begin the chase. Second, it is a signal to Charlie to join in the chase. Wally knows he needs Charlie to join in to have a successful hunt.
If one was to ask you to describe your faith walk, would the word “passionate” come to mind? Our faith walk should be a passionate one—a walk filled with joy—and we should want others to join us.
Psalm 37:34 “Wait passionately for God, don’t leave the path. He’ll give you your place in the sun while you watch the wicked lose it.”
