Rabbits seem to be the one animal the dogs cannot subdue. Rabbits are special to me because of a story about a rabbit named Hope. I don’t remember all the details about the story, except that at the end the little girl says, “The best thing about Hope is she hops.” When I heard this I realized I had hope. Soon I was seeing the rabbits everywhere—no hunter dogs were messing with them. This always reminds me of hope.
The world can beat us up pretty good. In spite of all the trials we face, there is hope with God on our side. For me, every day is a “Hope Hops Day.”
