Is Life Fair?
Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good. (Regina Brett, American author and podcaster)
We weren’t very old when we learned that not everything goes the way we want it to. We told our parents, “That’s not fair!” And they very likely responded, “I know, but life isn’t fair.” As Brett might suggest, it would be better to say, “Life isn’t always fair.” And when “life” isn’t fair, accept the good things in life as God’s blessing for that day.
Truly God is good . . . to those whose hearts are pure (Psalm 73:1). So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9).
