Climbing

Some people would be content, no doubt, just to reach the top of the mountain and enjoy the amazing view. But real mountain climbers will not be content to scale a high hill only to discover that there is a higher one in view. Until the climber has reached the summit of Mt. Everest, he is probably never going to be satisfied. With every achievement, it’s good to seek the next one.
I have not achieved [perfection], but . . , I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God . . . is calling us (Philippians 3:12-13).
