God of Hope

So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless (James 2:17).

Set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12).

What is impossible for people is possible with God (Luke 18:27).

. . . let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions (1 John 3:18).

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed (Psalm 20:4).

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not depend on your own understanding. . . . Whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe (Proverbs 3:5; 29:25).

So don’t worry, because I am with you. Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you (Isaiah 41:10).

Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge (2 Peter 1:5).

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence (Ephesians 3:12).

[The Lord] holds success in store for the upright. . . . Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong (Proverbs 2:7; 1 Corinthians 16:13).

Remember your leaders [mothers] who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith (Hebrews 13:7).

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth (3 John 4).
