[W]hoever heeds correction shows prudence. . . . The one who heeds correction gains understanding (Proverbs 15:5, 32).

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable . . . think about such things (Philippians 4:8).

Wounds from a friend can be trusted (Proverbs 27:6).

It is senseless to pay tuition to educate a rebel who has no heart for truth (Proverbs 17:16).

Therefore, each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor (Ephesians 4:25).

Let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions (1 John 3:18).
