God of Hope

Get up and prepare for action (Jeremiah 1:17).

Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart (Psalm 119:34).

We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:14-15).

Make the most of every opportunity (Ephesians 5:16).

I have not achieved (perfection) but I focus on this one thing: . . . I press on to reach the end of the race. (Philippians 3:13-14)

The hopes of the godly result in happiness (Proverbs 10:28).

 “Up to this point the Lord has helped us!” (1 Samuel 7:12b)  Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. (Psalm 37:5)

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus (Acts 20:24).

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way (Hebrews 12:11).

Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live (Psalm 43:3).

For God … made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).

A multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. ( Luke 2:14).
