God of Hope

There are friends who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives (Proverbs 37:23).

Love is patient and kind . . . Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance . . . love will last forever! (1 Corinthians 13:4, 7, 8)

Those who work hard will prosper. (Proverbs 13:4) For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him. (Hebrew 6:10)

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance (Romans 5:3).

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone (Colossians 4:6).

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval (2 Timothy 2:15). 

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith (Galatians 6:10).

[God] comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us (2 Corinthians 1:4).  

Oh, that we might know the Lord!   Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring (Hosea 6:3).

God . . . will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them (Hebrews 6:10).
