I have to admire the persistence of my hunter dogs, Wally and Charlie. Once they tree a squirrel, they stand on their back legs at the base of the tree and bark and bark and bark—believing the barking will make the squirrel come down out of the tree. I have to admire their “never give up” attitudes.
I’ve often been frustrated asking myself, “Am I making any progress or impact?” or throwing my hands up and asking, “ Is this worth the effort?” But, I remind myself that God’s timing is different than ours, and He asks only that I remain obedient in my efforts.
Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
